Camp Right Next To Tobacco Ranch

We are lucky to be located right across the river from an awesome little campground called Pettit Park. This is a great option for our summer weddings and events. Enjoy the day/night over at Tobacco Ranch at your event and then walk across the bridge to your Camper, Tent, or Motor Home. Pettit Park is conveniently located less than a mile from the delicious restaurants, cute shops, and bars of downtown Clare.

Pettit Park is a 5-acre park located on the Tobacco River just upstream from Shamrock Lake. Pettit Park offers a variety of recreational opportunities including camping and fishing. All sites are first-come, first-serve, however, reservations will be made only for groups that reserve 4-8 campsites.

Please call for more information. Campers are responsible for registration and deposit of fee in pipe at entrance of park. Individual sites do not have water and sewer hookups, however water and a dump station are available at the front of the park; please note that is no charge for water and sanitation if camping. If you are not camping with us, sanitation dump charge is just $5.00.

Amenities include a playground structure, new picnic pavilion, horseshoe pits, picnic area with grills, sanitation station, restrooms (ADA Compliant), new coin operated shower facilities (ADA Compliant), and a fishing pier (ADA Compliant).
